I am a national security leader and cybersecurity strategist with more than 22 years of experience driving change across government, industry, and academia.

I began my career as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force before joining Deloitte Consulting, where I worked with defense and intelligence agencies on strategic initiatives. I later returned to public service as a civilian counterterrorism analyst in the U.S. Intelligence Community, where I deployed three times to Afghanistan in support of global security missions.

My interest in building smarter, more resilient systems led me to join Recorded Future in its early days, helping shape the field of threat intelligence as it emerged into a vital part of modern cybersecurity.

After earning a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, I returned to lead the Cyber Project at the Belfer Center and later served as Acting Executive Director of the Center itself. There, I worked at the intersection of cybersecurity, policy, and global affairs, driving forward critical research and public interest innovation.

Most recently, I served as Senior Advisor to the Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity at CISA, where I led the Secure by Design initiative—a ground-breaking effort to shift responsibility for security upstream by embedding security into the way technology is built and maintained.
